Learn how you can raise $$ for HDPA with every search you do! |
NW area dog park effort HDPA is currently focused on a program to get a NW Area Dog Park. HDPA is holding education tables, gathering community support, getting petitions signed, passing out information, and maintaining contact with City and County Parks Departments to advocate for dog park supporters in the area around Cy-Fair, Spring, Cypress, Champions, Willowbrook and more. We are seeking a dog park within the boundary of 249 and 290 and outside the Beltway. NEW UPDATE: land is being donated on 1960 near Jones Rd for a small public dog park! Learn more and donate to specific items to get name plaque recognition! Sign the petition to show support for a NW area dog park in Houston. TC
Jester Dog Park Improvements Happy Feet and Paws Program for TC Jester Dog Park The ground cover installed before the Grand Opening on April 24th is a little too large for comfort and HDPA is working to solve this issue. We have a volunteer day planned on June 12th at 8 am to be hosted by Nutro dog food. Come on out and help by providing labor or refreshments. We will regrind the mulch and respread it as well as install some landscaping features in the park. Please note that all other 'small' City of Houston dog parks have this same ground cover. See photos here.
